Thumbs up Boost Controller

I have the 01 a4 1.8t quattro and its bone stock. This is my first audi and I was wondering if there is a boost controller on it. If so is it manual or electric. If there isnt one then what kind should I get?

If your stock there is not and you should not put one one cause you don't know enough about these cars to use it properly.

First search/read faq's and do research before moding your car.

Well, the car uses its own boost controller which is controlled by the ECU, called the N75 valve. It cannot be manipulated by the user, but a tuner can manipulate it through ECU tuning. Generally if you get your car ECU "chipped" the new tune will allow a higher boost threshold (via the N75 valve).

Don't get a MBC or EBC for that matter. The N75 does a great job.
