I have a 2001 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro.

On the dashboard display I am getting the Brake Light Failure symbol and the Bulb Failure Dipper Headlights or Rear Lights symbol. I checked all lights and everything is working. Nothing is blown out.

What could cause this problem and how can I fix it?

have you checked ALL lights, including indicators, third brake light (center one above trunk - if you have it), license plate light, fog light, etc?
I'd hate to think it was some small electrical issue somewhere that would be impossible to find.
