Brake problems at low speed.
Hi all, so i have an Audi A4 B5 1,8T 1997 that acts strangely.
When i drive lets say 70km/h and comes to an intersection, i start to brake and it works fine. Until i almost stops, the problems starts.
The brakepedal starts to "vibrate" its like when you hardbrake on a icy road and the ABS kick's in.
And it sounds like the ABS "brrr brrr brrr" together with the pedal....
It comes almost everytime when i brake hard.
Could it be airpockets ?
Thanks
Fredrik

Have you had any work done to your brakes in recent history? Wheel bearing or abs sensor work? I replaced a wheel sensor and I had not seated the sensor in deep enough. I tapped it in with a mallet until it bottomed out and all was good after that.
Have you scanned the ABS module for codes yet? If so what were the codes? If not, I would start there.
