Buying my first Audi -- need help, please
greetings! I'm currently looking to buy my first Audi A4. More specifically, I'm looking at a 2001 A4 here http://snipurl.com/43syr
I just finished reading through the newbie's guide stickied above. Thanks for that info. Through that thread, I was able to find the service schedule which states that the timing belt should be changed at 105K miles. The car I'm looking at has 121K miles.
How will I know if the belt has been changed? Is there anything I can check when I look at the car?
The dealership is closed on sunday, so I'll be going to visit tomorrow (monday) evening.
Never had one of these cars before (never even sat in one). Do you guys have any tips on things I should be looking for tomorrow? Any questions I should ask the dealer?
Thanks so much for your advice.

If you look at the link you can see it's a 2.8 by the chrome trim. Ask the dealer if they have service records for the timing belt and also ask them to provide a car fax report. If they can't prove the T belt has been done, they should be willing to do it if it means a sale.
^^ appreciate the advice re: the windows. I probably wouldn't have even bothered to roll them down. I'd just assume windows work. I'll try to contain my excitement tonight and remember to check the little things.
