Default A/C Belt

After driving home yesterday from school I noticed a belt hanging down from the front of my car. I took a quick look and its the A/C belt. I'm wondering how big of a job it is to replace just that belt? Do I have to get a new tensioner as well or will the belt alone be sufficient? I'd rather not put the frontend into the service position as I just had the car in the body shop after an accident and they have everything lined up perfectly.

usually replacing the belt is fine but it depends on how it broke. a pulley could have shredded it
