Sorry, that's what I meant by "glazed". I've seen it a couple times at auto-x events, people slip the clutch a lot and wind up with a coating of friction material on the pressure plate. Then the clutch just slips and grabs randomly. In those cases, if you "granny" it for awhile it all gets knocked/ground off and eventually it's OK. But like I said, I don't think that's what happened here.

No, it does not. Im feeling your idea as well, that could be it as well, but i dont get why the same stuttering does not happen when i go in reverse?? should it not?

where exactly may that be Keegan? something tells me that could be a culprit of some sort, i really need to make sure of that as i plan on changin the oil once i get that triple square socket needed for the manual trans

Does the transaxle or whatever you call the part that i outlined has residual oil on it, share the oil with the manual trans? as it all looks like one unit?

As far as I know, no. It was a separate fluid. CV grease is that thick dark almost paste, Manual tranny fluid is a heavier oil, but this should be like valve oil (if you played a brass insturment) or almost like cooking oil, but lighter. I have pics somewhere

hey guys just wanted to update on the situation on my car.....it seems the more accepted reason of me just taking a chunk of life away from my clutch must be it. Because now that i drive my car, the stuttering is pretty much non existent. now the car shifts smoothly. BUT it will shift smooth always if i drop the clutch @ around 1800-2000rpm on first. if it do it how im used to doing it @ around 1100-1300rpms, it will slightly stutter, much less than initially. the car still grabs strong on all circumstances; uphill, on 5th gear @30mph, and even when i start from stop on 2nd. which is still a little mind boggling, but i guess its a good thing. the smell has gone away as well and doesnt come back strong. im assuming its just lingering in te ca because of the rug and cabin filter may, which i just changed like 8k ago, i guess ima have put another one
