If it's for a few days you should be fine, as basically everyone else stated above. You will definitely get some shaking/vibration.

I'm really impatient about stuff too man, but I say just wait. It will save you some time, and the tiny chance that you have a major F-up.

 

I usually try to do things the correct way when it comes to my car... I woulodnt even think of mounting them with out the rings.
