car threw p2138 :(

So I have been searching and it looks to be anything from electrical issues to a bad tps to changing the pedal assembly. Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

What year? What motor? I'm betting it's the 1.8, I don't think the V6's throw that code.

sorry, yes its a 2001 1.8tqm awm engine code

it was no longer there this morning when i left for work, but that is very helpful, i will test that for good measure
