Default CAR WON'T START!!

Car sat for about two weeks while I've been driving my summer car. Try starting it today and she wouldn't fire. Turns over fine and I'm getting fuel as I pulled plugs to verify. Think my coils packs may be the cause but it would still fire on different cylinders right? What's the chance of all four going at the same time? I'm going to vag it tomorrow to check for codes. Is there anyway to check for spark? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks again.

I would guess the coilpacks.

check the plugs they could be wet if you tried to start the car over and over...

Default RE: CAR WON'T START!! UPDATE!

Ok guys, get this sh*t... Spent most of the day diagnosing my car which still wouldn't start. Vagged it with no cels coming up. Rechecked everything multiple times: cracked fuel line to injectors = good flow/ pressure, pulled plugs (which were still wet) kept them in the coils while I cranked engine = great spark. Car still would not start....wtf? This car only sat for two weeks and could not figure out what the hell was wrong. Every time I would try starting the car it would sputter like it wanted to fire but just wouldn't start. Finally I just kept cranking and cranking the engine until the engine started. It ran like **** for a little while andsmoked (blue) quite a bit and also would not maintain a steady idle (would stall) if I didn't keep pressure on the gas pedal. I had a valve tap like crazy too whichmade me believe I wasn't firing on all cylinders but aftera whilethe tapping went away. After keeping the car running for a while it slowly recovered a stable idle and seemed to be fine.Took it out for a test drive and the car ran strong, back to normal. I still have no idea what would have caused this. I hadgood spark and fuel. Searched this forumfor related issues and found that one person made a comment to the fact that too much fuelcould have washed the oilaway from the cylinder walls causing low compression thuscreating no combustion. Due to the fact that I also had that valve tapping at start up makes we wonder if I'm starting to experience problems related to sludge build-up. If those oil runners aren't getting enough oil up to the cylinder walls at start-upcould I be another potential oil sludge victim? [&o] Any ideas?? Would anyone recommend a seafoam treatment? Love this car but it'slosing my confidence; spent more time working on this damn thing thenenjoying it.Oh yes and may I add this little event happening right before attempting a steering rack replacement....

While inspecting the engine I also found a ripped/ cracked hose. I am not sure the function of this hose but is a 1" diameter elbow shaped hose that is located right under the intake manifold/ throttle body to the left of the dipstick; it looks emission related and is not in pressure as I could not hear any effects in engine idle as I squeezed it and sprayed some ether on it. Any ideas on this?
