K i am getting mine replacing we have been to 3 shops and they all say its gonna cost me 600+. what engine code is it. 1997 audi a4 1.8t quattro.

97-99.5 are AEB, 2000 are ATW, and 2001 is AWM

Call labree in cali. They make nice high flow cats for cheaper than the one you're lookin at. At least they used to be.
