Catalytic Converter 00audia4

Hey i need a catalytic converter for my 2000 audi a4 2.8 quattro. Can i just purchase the converter itself, or do i need it with the whole pipe back as well?

I just purchased the pipe from the manifold down to the connection behind the cat convert from MufflerExpress. Should be here in a couple more days. I can let you know what I think.
