Default Catalytic Converter Separated from Turbo Flange

Well tonight the catalytic converter separated from the turbo flange. The separation is a clean break and the studs an all look fine. I did a search on this problem and it's apparently a common problem. from what I can tell most people replaced the converter with a down pipe. I wanted to know if this problem can be repaired by welding the converter back on the flange. The converter is is good shape and I dont want to spring for a replacement (we just put a clutch and an engine in this car) as we have spent a lot of money recently.

Thanks,
Mark

Justed checked some other sources and answered my own question.

Thanks,
