Unhappy cd player not wide enough need trim

I just got a LEGACY cd player for my audi and its not wide enough to fill in the space. Any one have a solution? I dont know exactly how big it is, but I need to fill in the gaps on the sides.

Your new one is not wide enough or not tall enough? Or both?

i will take pix tonight and show you my little mod for that to get the kit you would have to drop around 60 bucks and wait till they ship it to, instead you can buy cheap 10 dollar one at walmart and mod it your self ))

i swear i gotta answer radio install questions weekly...
first off you cant just put in an aftermarket radio in the factory space. after market radio equals din size. factory does not equal din size. you need whats called an install kit. dont get anything besides metra parts. the kit is metra number 99-9100. do you have the right harness?

and another thing, dont get shitty brands!!! even if the legacy radio was free, your stock radio is better. you get what you pay for.
i dont wanna sound like an ***, but dont "mod" a walmart kit to fit your radio. it will end up like ****. i have done this kinda thing so many times its not funny. dont buy one part from walmart. i would rather you nag me for the next month about which parts to get than nag me for the next year about why your radio doesnt look good/work right.
