Default CEL doesn't come on at all!!!

The only problem that i'm having now is that the CEL never comes on! Like at all....you know when you turn the key (but don't start the car) the CEL show appear then disappear....well it doesn't even light up...therefore....still can't pass smog! I don't have any codes show at all but the dang light has never came on since i bought the car. I have no idea why....any suggestions guys?

it's probably just the light behind the cluster tha'ts out or something. it's gonna be a pita lol. unplug your maf and run the car and there should a cel but in your case, it shouldn't light up lol.

yup, sounds like the bulb either went out or it was removed...lol

to get to it is definately a PITA, you may be better off payin a certified mechanic an hours worth of labor, or you can buy a new cluster on eBay for about 100-150$

alright, well....gl!
