Why doesn't the S4 have DSG yet?

This seems like it would simply be killer. Its rather annoying that its not slated for the 06 model.

Freaking A.. 2008? That is a lifetime away. What is taking so long? I would like it in next year's model [:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]

It almost makes me want to buy a TT instead of an S4...

DSG is only currently available on Transversly mounted engines. They havn't developed one for a longitudinal one yet. Marc Trahen from Audi USA said they are just not technically there yet with that transmission.
