I know it's hot, why doesn't my car?
Issue: engine runs perfect, oil temp reads perfect, coolant temp reads perfect, loses no coolant while driving, chime beeps once in a while with the flashing thermometer, coolant circulates at n.o.t., coolant bubbles out of cap once the car is turned off. What gives? Anyone have this problem? Was told that the reservoir sometimes warps and won't allow the cap to fully seal, thus releasing pressure, creating a lower boiling point, leading to overheat. Again, it only boils over once the engine is shut off.
A little educated help, please.

first have it scanned. there may be a fault code. a sensor is possibly out. good luck and let us know what you find.

I would buy a new tank.

Thank you.
Update: Let the car run until it reached operating temperature. Never saw the aux fan kick on. Anyone know what temperature the fan should come on at? Does the temp sensor that controls the gauge also control the aux fan?
