Changing Headlight Bulb on my 1996 2.8L

Default Changing Headlight Bulb on my 1996 2.8L

Hey, ive searched and have'nt found my answer.

How do you take out and install headlight bulbs on my 2.8L B5?

Pop the back cover off the headlight, pull off the wire connector from the bulb, unclip the metal retainer and swing it up, and pull out the bulb.

how do you pop the back cover out?

Damn man, have you opened the hood yet? It's got two release tabs on it and it comes off in your hand. Seriously, just go look and you'll see exactly what to do even without this thread.

There are two black tabs on the back of each headlight assembly. There is an arrow pointing to each one, and underneath the arrow it says "press". Press down on the tabs at the same time and the black cover will basically fall off, revealing the backs of the bulbs and the connectors that upstate was talking about.

Don't forget to check your turn signal fluid while you're in there.
