recently my check engine light kept comming on and off, well i decided to take to to auto zone for a test. When he was done the computer said somthing about my main air flow censor. Dont really know whats up my car seems like its been running fine and what not. He over rode it so i dont know if it will come back on but should i take it to the dealership or is there something i can do. Let me know and thanks for the help.

your not very specific with the code. if it said maf sensor dirty or damaged, then its probably the maf. pick up some cleaner and try to clean it, if that doesnt work then it might be something else or you might need a new maf all together

 

well damn I hope its just dirty, But i will def go pick up some cleaner and clean it. He wasnt really specific with the code, he didnt give me the number. but I will let you know and thanks again.

Yeah get it scanned again and get a printout of the code(s). Post them up here and we'll take it from there. If you have to replace it, it's very easy and accessible. Won't take 15 minutes.
