chip install??
I just put a new ECU in my car, My other one had some water damage and wasn't letting me connect with vagcom and was running horrible.. The new ECU is in and the car is running but is soooo slow. The chip in my old ECU pops right out and wasn't touched by the water.. Any thoughts on putting this on the new ECU? Anything I should know? Is it worth it?
I would take it to a chip retailer and have them remove/install the chip. They will charge you with labor, but they will have it done right and have far less risk of messing it up.
