Cold Air intake 01 1.8T

alright so my brother had a older audi i forget what year but he had a KnE Air intake set up going on.... not sure how exactly that works with the turbo if its the same with a non turbo??

Your factory setup is a cold air intake. A cone in the bay is a hot air intake. Keep what you have - it can flow far more air than your engine requires.
