have a leak from the coolant flange to the metal pipe that leads to the top of the radiator. i took it all apart today o ring looked fine, so i put it back together thinking that maybe a retorque would fix it but it didnt, must just be age getting to the oring. anyway my question is anyone know the size of the oring that i need?

 

i didnt really think anyone would know. guess ill have to just hunt one down.

no don't do it. the flange is not expensive. and its a plastic p.o.s. they warp thats why they leak. if you replace the o-ring your just wasting time to see that it still leaks after you have it filled back up with new coolant.

 

the flange itself was replaced
with the o Ring that I took out. the ring on the block side was replaced so even if I was to replace the flange I will most likely need a an o ring anyway

 

I changed out the flange and oil cooler yesterday, having the same issue. I orderd the wrong o-ring had to use the old one.

 

where did you get the ring
and what size so I know not to order it.
