Default Couple of questions, ideas, and some troubleshooting...

Car:
2001 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro - Sport Package
5 Speed
102,2xx miles
BONE STOCK!

I have been doing a little bit of searching lately on a few topics. I am new to the VW/Audi world. I have the ABS/brake lights up in my dash. I know that people sent out their ABS modulators for repair. i used the search function and found a few sites that do the repairs. is this the correct unit for my vehicle?
http://www.bba-reman.com/catalogue/D...ledProduct=257

Next, i was doing some homework and research on aftermarket air intake setups and i was able to find the Carbonio system. however, the reviews i read were not good and i do not think that i will be getting that one. People seem to dislike it. I was wondering what you guys use for aftermarket intakes. i saw the K&N drop in filter as well as people doing an air box mod. would like to know some more about that as well.

i have a slight studder in my acceleration around the 2-3k rpm range. It doesnt fall on its face in lower gears, but seems like it studders or backs down alittle bit. once it gets into the boost range it accelerates fine. I am predicting that it is the fuel filter restricting some fuel prior to boost. i am going to run a can of the seafoam stuff through the system to clean all of the lines as well as the injectors. My car parts store offered me two different fuel filters assemblies. one was $24 with a nut structure on top and the other had a nipple for what looked like a rubber hose for $18. which one do i use and where abouts do i go for replacing this?

I am also looking at getting an aftermarket boost gauge for the car. what do most people do for housing the aftermarket gauges? pillar pods? what about the pods on the steering column etc. let me know what you guys use that looks good in the interior and where to get them etc.

thanks for reading my post and i appreciate any help.

all those questions have been answered over and over. A quick search will give you all the answers you need.

For gauges http://www.awe-tuning.com/pages/shar...p;PPT=Interior

Or check for VDO gauges 52mm. They sell at around 35$.

most ppl will run them in the central vent. But you have also the option of pods on the steering column like this one:

But as i state, most ppl like to run them in the vents.

For the fuel filter. I didnt change mine yet. But if i was you i would go with the filter that looks like the one i have on my car!!
