Quattro is not traction control. Quattro is an Audi-brand 4 wheel drive system. It will not help you stop on ice.

ABS is activated when the driver depresses the brake pedal suddenly or on an unstable surface.

If you are slipping, hit the brakes and lock up a wheel, the ABS kicks in to unlock it, yes, but the traction control also kicks in becuase now it senses you have no traction on at least 1 if not all 3 of the other wheels that are NOT locked.
