Quattro is not traction control. Quattro is an Audi-brand 4 wheel drive system. It will not help you stop on ice.

but it (quattro) does help you slow down on snow/ice! (alot IMO) because it also works while decelerating....

and to the OP, (not to be an a$$hole but) did u search around at all??
...i mean ur askin us what ABS is!!

Quattro includes the Traction Control... And, I was trying not to become a 'tech head' while briefly telling a story....

If you are slipping, hit the brakes and lock up a wheel, the ABS kicks in to unlock it, yes, but the traction control also kicks in becuase now it senses you have no traction on at least 1 if not all 3 of the other wheels that are NOT locked.

but it (quattro) does help you slow down on snow/ice! (alot IMO) because it also works while decelerating....
