dead remote

Default dead remote

my remote died last night so what batteries do i need and how can i reprogram my remote

ok that answers programming, anyone know the batteries i need? and were to get them. and its for the switchblade key

pull the old batteries out and get the numbers and go to Radioshack. Don't leave the batteries out. Put them right back in then get your batteries and replace them and you shouldn't need to worry about programming it.

Make sure they're actually dead first. I don't know what happened but I thought mine died before and I tried reprogramming it first and it worked fine again.

trust me they are dead, my remote was working one day, stopped for an hour, worked for 15 min stopped for an hour then worked again and this morning all through the day i got nothing. ill stop at a radio shack tomorrow after i get out of college

i wanna say the battery number is 1620, but im not positive

on a somewhat related note, how long do your batteries usually last? it seems the last two sets i have put in mine have lasted less than two weeks, which seems far too short... does anybody have any ideas why that may be?

I think 1620 is the correct number but just incase take the battery out.

Radio Shacks should carry the battery.
