Hi everyone I currently own a 97 audi a4 1.8t I was driving to work and I went over a deep hole my oil light came on I kept driving few minutes later all the lights came on on the dashboard and my car came to a stop now my question is did the engine lock up? I try moving the belts but there really hard and I can't get them to move.

 

Have you checked the oil? It will be near impossible to the engine by hand with the spark plugs still in. Sounds like you might've busted your oil pan...don't know how you wouldn't notice that, though.

 

Yes the oil pan busted it leak all the oil. A mechanic check it and he said the engine lock.

 

how far did you drive?

 

Drive over big pothole, oil light comes on, keep driving, ruin engine. Like a BAWS.
