disappointed

Default disappointed

So the past 2 days I have raced my audi and have lost both times, first it was too a 2006 nissan altima 3.5, and today it was to my boss' v8 jeep grand cherokee..... Now I am not that upset that I lost to the alitma because well it is newer and has about .7 more liters then mine. But my question is what can I possibly do to this car to make it alittle quicker????? I mena I am gonna have the exhaust down on it and put a cold air intake on but, and on down the road chip it but what else is there I can do to possibly make this thing quicker?????? I have a race with a v8 mustang on the 20th this motnh and I must say it isn't looking good for me.

well, I guess it would help if we knew which engine we had to make faster, but a good starting place is to click on the newbie thread in the general A4 section, it has a treasure trove of information which will tell you how to make your audi faster.

2.8 I figured u guys would get the point when I said I raced a 3.5 and he has .7 more liters, but it's all good

sorry, I'm not in that state of mind right now, and unfortunately you have a 2.8, which means if your car has the 30V V6 98+ then you can get a PES supercharger for 5k and make some boost, you can do a custom rear mount turbo, or you can cruise around and not race.


If you happen to have a 96 or a 97 A4, then you have the 12v V6, then you'll probably want to sell that as soon as possible and get either 1.8t or an S4

the V6 Audi's are not made to be really tuner friendly

lmfao.


CAB has the options pretty well covered. an S4 engine swap is possible, too, but really not worth the money.

i mean just logically you have a v6 luxary sedan and you planned out a race against a V8 coupe!?[:@]
