Well, a nitrous system isn't too expensive for the power gained - that's a possibility. I believe I read awhile back that the 2.8 30v can take a 75 shot fine (don't recall whether an upgraded fuel pump was needed, but the injectors were big enough). With that setup, making a hair under 270hp, he could probably take some of the Mustangs. Not sure about newer ones, but the older fox-body 5 liter cars would probably lose (run on the highway and "probably" becomes "almost certainly").
Yeah nitrous is an option; talk to oneg, he's got a 75 shot on his 12v, I think. I don't think the intake and exhaust will net much (if anything) in power gains on a NA engine, but it'll sound nice and you can certainly stand to lose some weight by getting rid of the stock exhaust. Definitely check out a chip; like SpeedTuning or GIAC. Also lightweight wheels with performance tires would help; and take out your spare tire, trunk carpet, and back seat when racing - stuff like that.

BTW, I though you were talking about street racing or something, didn't realize you were actually going to a track. You got to clarify that ish, mate!

HAHA those are ferocious cars. Oh and a real reply, drive your v6 for its comfort, smoothness and reliability. Keep it stock or add some things you like until you buy an s4. We don't drive sports cars haha.
