Diverter/Blow Off Valve Information

BOVs tend to be more trouble then they are worth on a stock engine. you have to get the correct type and adjust it correctly, otherwise your car will run like crap. just stick to a DV you dont need to flow that much air anyways.

Ok so are there two kinds of diverter valves? Kinda confused. There are the ones like the forge splitter that you hook up to the two hoses and then there are ones that are electronic like this?
Audi B7 A4 Quattro 2.0T > Engine > Intake > Diverter Valve > ES#263879 Upgraded Piston Diverter Valve, Electronic - 06H145710D
Im new to turbos so i dont really know much. Thanks guys.

Pretty confused my self right now?
As far as I know its is not recommended to run BOV on our cars. We should be running DV and have pressure recirculate back into the spooling turbo.
Correct me if im wrong but BOV will cause bigger turbo lag between shifts and overtime can cause our turbos to fail prematurely?
