do they make this hood NOT in CF?
That hood design was first used by Vorsteiner on their BMW hoods but is not used on their A4 hoods, but not likely that you are going to buy a hood that is well over $1000. lol

When it comes to hood/FG hoods you get what you pay for, if you buy a cheap *** hood you will get a cheap quality hood. If you want a good CF/FG hood stick with the name brand hoods. I have seem companies make cheap priced CF hoods that look good in pics but look like crap when you see them in person.
kayakman13's - yes the vented hoods will allow water into the engine bay, but to damage something the parts would have to be submerged in water for a long time and since most of the parts under the hood are hot/warm while your driving the water that gets thru the vents isn't exactly going to stay water very long.

Yes it is if you buy it in double sided CF, single sided CF version is closer to $1000. I actually had that hood but then sold that to my friend Fred and got the last vented hood Fiber Images made for the B5.
Back when I had that hood.
