Does GIAC 91 Octane program stay working fine after an ECU restart?

yes? no?
i got my car chipped about a month ago (GIAC 91 octane program) and i restarted my ecu the day before yesterday. is my car still "chipped?" or did that program just disappear?

Think of it this way, like a computer (since it is). You download the newest version of windows and then restart your computer, is it still there, yes. And just like a computer, you can only get rid of it by perpusely removing it.

i would think you could tell the difference between a chipped and stock car. you might have a boost or vac leak if there is little difference after you got chipped

thanks guys.

and i couldn't really tell the difference before i got my aftermarket bpv but now i can def. tell the difference.
