I used to have a bit of idle surging once in a while when stopped at a light. Changed plugs and cleaned out the throttle body and seems to have fixed the problem. How are your plugs?

Mines a tad rough too. I haven't seafoamed in awhile but I'm going to be doing that, replacing my vacuum lines, and replacing the PCV tube with silicone soon. Replacing my plugs made a little difference but not a huge change.

ImtheDevil - Just curious, how are you going to replace the pcv hoses with silicone? I just replaced all of these hoses and they are not cheap.

You shouldn't use silicone hose in an oily situation. Silicone hose + oil = bad.

Last year I replaced all my pcv lines with fluorosilicone (iirc) oil-safe hoses and ran an in-line catch can. So far, hoses still look new and no more pool of oil in the tb. Oh and they won't shatter on contact like the stock plastics lol!

There's all kinds of silicone hoses out there with difference coatings or of hybrid construction. Of course you shouldn't use vacuum hose for fuel, oil or coolant, but that goes for all the other kinds of hoses out there as well, not just silicone.
