PC-16 is for AEB engines, but I'm not sure if GIAC still offers the aggressive K04 files for ATW and AWM engines.
Thanks for the correction man, I checked quickly but didn't see it. I'll correct my other post!

220 whp is k04 territory.... ft is more like 250+........ gtrs is 275+..... all with proper tunes

if you are looking for only 220, i would go '01+..... i love the b5, my b5, but myself have "grown up" and the b6 is the car i would buy today

i am a fanboy of the avants though..... try and find an 02 1.8t qms...... you will be in love, for the b6 revo is the best tuner though

I agree with some of that lol. B6 avants are definitely sexy as ****. Never was a fan of the sedans though. Something about lines of the B5, especially an avant, never gets old for me.

WHen it comes to turbos there really is nothing that seriously could not be done. I can get custom manufactured compressors and mix things up. Like running T4 compresors in the TD05 turbos. I am pretty set on the K04 from the MS3 though I am running a TD04H 19T in my AE86.

The K04 MS3 uses a compressor that is very close to sveral different turbos by several different manufacturers. The TD05H small 16, T3 60 trim, GT2860R, GT2560R, K04 881 (MS3 turbo) TD04 19T, IHI STi turbo, and several others all come in right at 46mm - 46.5mm inducer and 58mm - 60mm exducer on the compressor side. I think it is some ommonly used as it may be turbo compressor limitation in some car classes if that makes sense.

The problem with the K04 which is also prominant in the K03 is the stub shaft size. I honestly do not know how the hold up to 14psi much less 24psi.

Another question: How does the K04 react in comparison to the K03? I have seen some dyno's that show 350lb ft of torque from the K03 but really have yet to see anything about the K04. If you have ever wondered how you can tell when the turbo has hit full spool (or you psi max setting) look at the torque peak. 350lb ft blows my mind from such a small turbo but I could probably fart and spool one up. Thanks for the answers.

Another tangent, How hard would it be to turbo the V6 models? I have come across V6 5 speeds in GREAT condition for very little coin. I have some other turbos in the closet that would make a alot more pony's but will definitely need something more to spool them adequately. Thanks

034 Just released a kit for this purpose. Assuming you dodn't want to buy the kit you'd need some S4 bits, lots of custom fab work, and standalone tuning, but it's definitely doable. If you're buying a B5 with a V6 with this in mind, make sure you get the newer 30v version, not the older 12v version. Check this thread out:

Single Turbo on your 2.8L 30v V6?

Hey chris, what tune would you use? Is 034 making chips for it or is it standalone only? IM thinking this is what I'm doing to my s4 engine before i drop in in so i don't have to pull it anytime i want to do turbo work.

I'm fairly certain you'd need standalone to run a single turbo V6. The N/A 30v tunes aren't set up for forced induction. I tweaked S4 tune MIGHT work if you have a full S4 harness but I really have no idea. You'd prolly wanna talk to Javad or Mike Hood on that one.

I was reading through the thread and they said they are focusing on a ME7 tune first followed by ME5. It sounds like its just an ECU deal. But this Maestro, is it still OBD2 compatible?

OMG!!! What a fantastic idea for pre-spooling the turbo right from the driver's seat!!!

Beans and Franks never tasted so good...
