Question downside of tire aspect ratio change?

OK
Rock stock 99.5 A4 with 215/55/16s want to replace with 215/60/16s on all four corners. Other than raising the ground clearance a bit and the speedo running a touch slow...are there any other negatives? Long hightway trip and tire purchase imminent. Thanks.

Odometer will be off a bit but otherwise not much. A 5% increase in profile won't have you hitting fenders on big bumps or anything.

i'm pretty sure they won't fit. i believe there was a guy trying to fit something very similar to that size not too long ago and i was the A-hole that told him it would fit but it didn't when he tried. what's your reasoning behind getting a larger profile tire? good deal?

Better deal and availability. Also looking for a scoch more sidewall flex for ride smooth.
My daughter's car, a 19 year old making her 1st tire purchase without Daddy prior to driving from Iowa to Austin, Texas...2000 mile round trip...end of the week with 3 passengers. Wants perfect roadworthiness (actually has that now, but slow leak in right front) except for Climate Control/AC which works until stopped on the road when the fan quits. Thanks for the reply. Thoughts?

Bought 4 Yokohama Avid S 215/60/16's today. Ride, tracking, dry traction, braking, etc.
all better than previous 215/55/16. Slight ride height boost, probly speedo error of 2.5 mph @ 70 mph. No rubbing/bumping and cornering seems = to 55s.
Happy!
NTB cost $91.00+tax ea.
Will update as situation evolves. Thanks for input both of you.
