drain plug

Default drain plug

about to order a new drain plug from ECS but theres 2 sizes which is the correct size for the oil pan?

26x1.5?
or
14x1.5?

They are dirt cheap from the dealer, it's probably easier to get it there. Unfortunately, I don't have one to measure. It's a PITA if you have to send it back.

Or you can just get the drain ring.

14 x1.5. But do yourself a favor and DONT GET THEM FROM ECS!!! Their plugs always have issues. I got a magnetic plug from autozone for like $4 and it fit perfect and never had an issue with it. ECS has had to many stripped thread... threads for to really regain peoples trust

the magnetic ecs plug? or the OE plug?

there have been a few posts by people with the magnetic ECS drain plug, where they took the plug out, and the magnet was gone. it worked loose and is somewhere in the engine. not a good thing as you can imagine.

yea. i guess ill just get one from autozone like cincy said, does anyone know if they sell the washers there too?

If you can't get one at Autozone I'll steal one from our cabinet and mail you it for a couple bux.
