Default Draining the coolant - Drain tube size?

I was wondering if anyone knew what size tube would fit the drain for the coolant off the radiator. I need to change my thermostat once again and the coolant is only about a month old now.

Thanks

It's cleaner if you use a hose that fits right over that little outlet there. I do it all the time. Don't have that hose around that I used though. I think the ID of the hose is about 5/8 inch...but I'm really not sure.

Thanks, I'll try that.

Ditto for the bucket, if not you could just use a funnel with a hose on that, into an empty container like a coolant container or whatever

Hey I gotta drain my coolant, did you guys figure out what size hose to fit the outlet? Is it 5/8s. Normally I just pulled the blue sensor down there. But this looks less messy. Thanks!

Don't know. It's not 5/6 though. I'd say the inside diameter is more like 3/8, but I'm not sure. I just know I have a hose in my garage that fits over that nicely.
