I was quoted $532 for just a seat bottom repair here in Chicago (leather though) for my previously owned A4 but the seat didn't look bad enough for me to want to spend that kind of money!

+1 on the $85 job. They couldn't even get the seat out of the car for that price.

For $265, I would have just driven there and gotten it done. The new vinyl seat cost me roughly $300 (15% discount at the dealer), but I'm literally 4 hours into installing it at the moment. I literally just got the old cover off. I anticipate another 3 hours just to put the new one on and reinstall everything.... <sigh>

thanks for posting! I just ordered one from genuineaudiparts.com "Item: body hardware, seats & tracks, front seat components, cover leatherette, onyx Left
Price: $267.84" +25 shipping. Hope I got the right part. I guess this is common, I do remember getting this replaced under warranty. But, it all ripped again and sadly its way out of warranty now.

How about some specs?

How can we give you a part number, when you say nothing about the year of your Audi and the color, left or right side of the seat cover, you're trying to replace?
