Nice job Sondis! Did you replace it or restitch it?

It was Restitched, only the lower half.

Next is the Hazard and cup holder bezel and the Arm rest, then o will be done with the interior. Then i can work on getting the Timing belt done.

I was thinking about going this route in the future but ideally I'd like to replace the whole seat for cheap from the U-pull yard. The yard by me sells the seats for $25. So it's just a matter of finding the same color seat in great condition. I'm curious how much did that cost? granted it looks brand spankin new, so that makes it worth it

well...your going to have to spend some money if you want your seat to look factory brand new again, there is no way around it. You say you can get one cheap for 25.00 but its still going to be used and may tear soon, then your bakc to square one.

265.00 is what i paid but it was less than what Audi would have charged me,300.00 just for the lower have of the seat and that doesn't include installation fees.

I am happy with my investment, next up is Hazard light/cup holder bezel and a arm rest lid replacement. Then i will be done with the interior, then i need to get the timing belt done.

Interesting choice in prioritizing...

The seat looks great (as I mentioned in the What Did You Do... thread). I'm seriously considering it now...

Correction,my seat "looked" like yours...past tense! Not anymore!

I never lost change in it thought,i always put my change in the arm rest or cigarette ash tray as i don't smoke anyway.
