thats crazy, the first year of owning my audi i didn't get a ticket but the last 2 years have been kind of bad. probably been pulled over 5-6 times in the 2 years. good thing 4 of those times were out of state, i dont think it counts towards my points or whatever for utah. but i still have my license and all. i think cuz i travel so much i need to go 10+ mph over the speed limit to not drive me nuts, haha

wow year and a half and never been pulled over. i'm keeping my fingers crossed. and no i don't drive like a grandma. i've gotten 1 ticket my whole 6 years of driving and 2 pull overs. i'm just a lucky person hehe. was doing 97 in jersey in the rain and the cop gave me a warning. only state i hate is PA. my dad's gotten several tickets there and that's where i got my only ticket.

Those statistics are just statistics. I'm not trying to say im right by any means, but being a cop, I have first hand experiences with things like this lol. It's officer discretion. They don't say in there that they were doing speed traps on all suv's or all sedans or coupes or audi's or hummers or any car for that matter. Statistics can always be skewed. In my experiences, it's going to always 100% be officer discretion. If a cop see's you doin a buck down a 70 mph highway, he's not ALWAYS going to write you a ticket. Most cops have a limit, and if you break it, you're getting a ticket. Mine is 15-20 mph lol. If I catch you doin 50 in a 35, I'm not writing a ticket. I'll stop you maybe, and notify you that "Hey man, you're going a little quick, its a residential area with tons of kids around, slow it down. Have a nice day." Done. Even before I was a cop, i've only ever been pulled over 2-3 times and for stupid stuff. Window tints, not coming to a full and complete stop, and a speeding ticket, doing 60 in a 55. Yes, 5mph.. Cop was a dick, and I told him

pulled once... doing 55 in a 55... but the real reason was cause i was "too close" to my friends car. he was like 2 car lengths infront of me. and then he had to bitch cause i had an expired inspection... i didnt get a ticket. it was 1:30 am and im sure he didnt want to stand out in the rain much longer.

Only time I've ever been stopped in my A4 was a couple months ago when I apparently went "too fast around that corner". It was right near my house, and I was already in the driveway when he got turned around and hit his lights. Bastard gave me a tint ticket. I asked him on what he was basing his claim that I went too quickly around the corner, since I wasn't speeding before or after the corner, and there is no speed limit for corners, and I had the car perfectly under control. He just ignored the question.
