Default DVV fluttering never herd it before.

I have a 2001.5 1.8t with a forge 007 dvv. I also have a godspeed fmic. When the dvv opens to reciculate the air to the piping instead of the steady shhhh i usually get, the air flutters and starts to sound like an hks ssq. It just resently started ive had both the dvv and the fmic on for over a year, could the dvv be going bad?spring worn?needs to be cleaned maybe? any help would be appreciated. thanks.

First, what is the second V for? Its diverter valve (dv).

If you are talking about with low boost (5-8psi), it is normal. You should be running either a green spring with 2 shims or just the yellow spring. The green with 2 shims seems to work best with most.

You can grease up the pistonand swap in the yellow spring and see how it works for you then.
