I really didnt mean for you to try the $69 chip. You cant fall for that stuff and sometimes you just have to make the mistake to learn from it.

You have to upgrade your DV. You could upgrade your intake and exhaust later if you wish to go to stage 2.

 

I've heard the same exact thing. But also heard that all of that is bullshit and that Audi's stock valves, intake, turbo etc. should hold up.

 

Yeah and you want to make sure you don't have any boost leaks before doing it or you won't notice the changes as much or at all.

I also believe the big difference with stage 1 and 2 is if you have the correct octane fuel available in your area.


Yeah, the audi has pretty sufficient air intake for just a stage 1 or 2 upgrade. The exhaust is okay too but doing a catback exhaust or even changing the cat too would give you some real nice improvements

 

Just to clear things up you NEED a new diverter valve. New silicon turbo intake and throttle body hose would help but are not necessary. Same fir exhaust its a nice touch but not necessary. You will also NEED to gap your spark plugs to .028 instead of the stock .032.
