hi guys im looking for an engine for my audi a4 97 1.8t and i found an 01 passat 1.8t would that engine fit my car?

 

Not without a lot of additional parts. You have a cable-drive throttle and that engine is drive by wire. You'd need to replace the throttle pedal and possibly the engine bay wiring harness, the ECU, and several other parts as well.
