engine block, are they all different?

Thanks again redline380. I apologize for being such a noob. I think I read somewhere that auto and manual tranny vehicles differ in crank shaft length. The auto's crank sticks out farther compared to manual's crank. Did I read that right?

That is true. You'll need a manual crankshaft. However if you find an auto crank for cheap it can be modified to work. You'll need to put the right pilot bearing in and shave the end down

what would be cool is if we could us the aba block with rids and pistons and us a head spacer. I have on my aba turbo MK2 and it runs flawless.
