Doesn't matter what motor was put into the 98, it will still make 150hp stock since it is the actual tuning that made the difference. The pre 2001 A4 1.8t ran 8-9psi stock and the 2001+ ran 11-12psi stock and this is why it made 170hp and the pre 2001 made 150. It has nothing to do with the motor or the K03 that it came with. So sticking a 2001 motor into your 98 would still end up making the same power it did with the 058 motor.
