Default Exhaust Wrap?

As you all may know, i need new flex pipes, and they just have small little rust wholes poking through. I found somewhere exhaust tape that i coudl just wrap over it. Will that work, or are they simple to just keep the heat down. Im just trying to mask up the sound coming from directly under my door. Thanks.

Why would we all know that you need flex pipes? If we would know because you started a previous thread regarding the topic, why not just post this related question in that thread? Anyways... Exhaust tape/temporary fixes like that only last so long, like weeks, and months if you're very lucky. Give it a shot if you want, but it won't last.
