Default The famous sunroof drain, and its problems

So I just picked up a steal on a b5 my third but the sunroof drain is clogged, bad. I know there was a class action on this issue but is too late in the year to do anything about it; any tips on fixing the problem? Also because of the moisture, some water damage was sustain on the central locking system (also alarm) and to drive the car I had to disable this system (keeping everything unplugged but the the units power) however no I have no power locks windows or alarm. Should I look for a new one? or can I go aftermarket and bypass this system altogether?....

I believe the class action suit said that Audi would repair any damages caused by the leak for free. I dont know for sure, hopefully someone who knows more than me can chime in. The last time I went to the car wash some water started leaking down and now I'm worried. Anyone know if Audi will clean out the drain for free?

The suit covers most B5s (all but 1996 I think). Search on this forum or google and the answers will come up I'm sure, or call the dealer and tell them you need the warranty work done and let them try to prove you don't qualify.
