That Feeling..
You know that feeling when somethings wrong with your car even though you just got it back from being fixed. Well it happened to me today. It feels like every time im accelerating or driving its being held back, not a motor thing but brakes. I think one of my brakes are screwed up. I hear the rub of something between 30-45 and when im faster its just a murmor type thing. I think its my front drivers brake set up, but i can't tell for sure what im looking for. It also has a nasty veer to the right when im driving, and sometimes is straight then bares of fast to the right. Alignment? Or could this be something to do with th ebrakes also. I have to hold my steering wheel tight now to turn, and also its becoming harder to turn even tho my fluid is full. Also supposidly got my oil cooler fixed, even tho my temp gauge light keeps coming on and today my oil light came on. Pulled over, checked it and everyhting was fine. Except i opened up the fill cap and there was white stuff gunked up that i could see on the cap and kinda inside? What is thatt? I know it can't be good. Also my idle 5 days ago was perfect, held strong at 1000 and didnt budge, now its going back and fort between 700-1000 again and dropping low and come back up. <sounds like a lil jon song. Anywho. can anyone give me some help. im tired of needing so much work done!

sounds like a brake issue.. maybe the caliper is stuck in a closed position and is putting pressure on your right side, thus causing it to want to pull right.. im fortunate enough to have a small town vw/audi fanatic as my mechanic and APR dealer.. the guy can fix everything and hes cheap for me too.. id find one of them to take a look at it and take it for a drive

Thanks for the Oil help. Yeah i didnt feel it tonight, I did some good drifts in a parking lot maybe that loosened them up a bit. Yeah all my mechanics that ive gone too are around 60 for labor. Sucks.

If there is a pull to the right while braking, check the right side (passenger) caliper as it could be dragging on the rotor.
However, if you are having trouble steering, you could have a failing tie rod, ball joint, etc etc. The best way to determine this is a visual inspection and measurement on the alignment rack.
Either way, it sounds like your car shouldn't be on the road. Good luck!

I went to the shop again today and poked around with the guy. The alignments way outa wack, thus causing the steering issues. The calipers were stuck bc of ice and such, got that all cleared up, and topped off the coolant, got that done, and ordered a new oil sensor and egr valve to fix the last of things. Now im gonna do some seafome before i put in the new oil and call it a day.
