First repair
So I bought the audi two days ago and it is time for the first repair. I left Walmart today, got on it a little and WAAAHHHH, exhaust noise. Where the down pipe comes down right before it goes towards the back, there is a piece of flexible pipe. That piece rusted in two. So i have to replace that pipe. Found the pipe online for 60 bucks have to take it to a local guy who specifically works on German cars. Should be fixed in a couple of days.
More i find out by these cars the more I like them and the more I hate them. It is obvious they can be labors of love.
Anyone else take out their jack that comes with the car for the first time and think WTF is this thing? I didnt think it would ever lift the car up LOL.

I was definately worried about the jack lol. I kept going higher and higher and getting more and more nervous. I cant even get a jack stand under it lol, so I had to man up and get a floor jack. Now when I go low, I dont even know what I'm gonna do.
That thing is freaky looking. It works pretty well but I would not want any body parts under the car while it has it up.
I am looking at modifying an existing floor jack I have to work with the audi. My car has the S4 suspension on it. It sits pretty low. I am lucky enough to have a father who is a retired maintenance man. He has solved some tough things over the years. He worked in factories and has had to craft tools before. I figure if we have to remove the wheels and change the lift arm some we can get it to work pretty well. If i think of it, i will get some pictures of ground clearance.
