Default Flasher Unit

Hey guys,

I have a 99 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro. I need to replace the flasher unit on my car. Where would I get the unit, and how would I fix it?

From what I read & heard, the flasher unit is similar to a VW Passat and it is much cheaper. It is located behind the hazards. Can someone confirm it and let me know which direction I should take?

Thanks

You pop the hazard button out and replace it. The flasher relay is part of the button. You might have to remove the trim around it, but it just pops off, carefuly.

The passat button is different from the A4's. You pull the trim out horizontally. You'll need some pliers to get the switch out.
