Default allroad indicator<flasher >unit

hi i have a 2000 allroad tdi that the flashers seem to switch of after a few times so i was going to change the flasher unit but not sure where it is? could anybody help...rob

Its the red triangle right above the radio that activates your hazard lights, if your talking about your turn signals, you didn't give a very good description of what you were talking about.

hi yes it is the turn indicators could you tell me the best way to change that unit please ?do i have to take the symphony head unit out to get at the switch??,,rob

Before you start taking things apart take it by your dealer and get their opinion on it. It is separate from your symphony (MUSIC) head unit.

hey im a first timer here but when i bought my 04 i had the same problem. it is the flasher unit. take it to the dealer and they can have it fixed in about 5 to 10 minutes.

My 01 AR, turn signal would keep clicking after the turn signal arm was off. I sprayed some WD-40 (lubricant) in to housing of the turn signal arm, and it went away. That was 4 months ago and it is still working fine. Try that before spending a lot of money at the dealer.
