fluctuating rpm causing engine overheating and battery run down

Question fluctuating rpm causing engine overheating and battery run down

when i start my car after stabilization the engine rpm fluctuates at a very high position, the temperature will rise and the battery will run down. pls what could be responsible for it. thanks

if the bettery dies when the eingine is running, alternator
rpm fluctuation can be many things, vaccum leak would be a starts check under the egine cover there are these shitty cloth lines, they are more than likely fucked cracked

How do I check for vacuum leak?

look at the hose? itd very evident when there is a problem theres not just one theres a bunch of litttle ones that all mess it up at once. you will see if they are split and torn. i never checked any other way than that so idk
